Job Overview

Our client, a well-established professional services firm based in Larnaca, Cyprus is seeking for a Tax Associate. The organisation specialises in accounting, taxation, and business advisory services, supporting clients through tailored financial solutions that go beyond compliance requirements to create long-term value and business growth. As a Tax Associate, you will play an important role in supporting the firm's tax compliance and advisory functions. You will be involved in tax return preparation, tax reporting, transfer pricing matters, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns and related compliance filings

  • Ensure timely submission of tax obligations and payments

  • Support tax audits and liaise with tax authorities where required

  • Maintain accurate tax records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation

  • Assist with tax reporting and year-end tax provisions

  • Monitor developments in tax legislation and compliance requirements

  • Support transfer pricing activities, including preparation, review and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and analyses where applicable

  • Work closely with audit and accounting teams on direct tax-related matters

  • Perform additional tax and administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field

  • One to two years of experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage

  • Good command of both Greek and English languages

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy

  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently

  • Successful completion of the ACCA Taxation paper, demonstrating a good understanding of tax legislation and principles, will be considered a very strong advantage
