Eliteways Recruitment and Consultants Limited is a recruitment agency that specializes in connecting employers and candidates. Our business involves collecting, processing, and storing personal data in line with GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (processing necessary for the performance of a contract) and other applicable laws. In such instances, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s updated Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs 2021), and will assess the level of data protection in the recipient country, in line with the guidance from the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
Data Retention
In accordance with the GDPR’s data minimization principle (Article 5(1)(c)), we retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Typically, we will retain candidate information for 2 years, unless legal obligations require a longer retention period.
Once this period expires, or upon your request, we will securely delete or anonymize your data in compliance with GDPR Article 17 (Right to erasure).
