Job Overview

Our client, a leading technology company based in Cyprus, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer, to join their team. In this exciting role, you will provide technical support to both internal staff and external clients, optimizing the customer support experience and ensuring the smooth operation of the department in order for the Company to achieve its strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Support for Mobile Solutions

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, addressing their issues promptly, professionally and in a timely manner.

  • Set up, configure, and update mobile devices and related hardware to ensure optimal performance.

  • Provide on-site technical support for software installations, repairs, and upgrades at customer location.


Document Management Scanners Support

  • Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to enterprise data scanners, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and calibration of scanners to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with customers to provide technical guidance, training, and support on the operation and maintenance of scanning equipment.


General Customer Support

  • Provide support to customer in relation to mobile printers, label industrial printers, card printers, barcode scanners and servers.

  • Conduct wi-fi installations in warehouses to address customers’ needs.

  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a seamless support experience. 


Internal IT Support

  • Offer technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware and software related issues.

  • Manage and maintain IT equipment, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering or any other related field.

  • Basic knowledge of diagnosing and repairing hardware issues in mobile devices and related peripherals.

  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and cloud services.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
